COVID-19 UPDATE
Following the announcement from the Prime Minister on Saturday 31st October 2020 regarding England going into a second lockdown from Thursday 5th November until Wednesday 2nd December, we would like to inform you of our current position.
We remain fully operational in both our offices and production facilities and we are continuing with the highest levels of cleanliness and social distancing possible to protect our workforce and the wider population. Where possible, staff are already working from home and can still be contacted as normal via email and telephone.
As a supplier to many key industries who can't afford a break in supply, we are committed to continuing to deliver our market leading service by making our workplace as safe as possible. We are continuously reviewing our procedures and operations to ensure the risk to our staff, customers and suppliers is reduced as far as possible.
Please see below some of the additional measures we have implemented.
All visits to our premises (unless vital) will continue to be postponed until further notice. Instead, opting for conference call/video where possible. If you do have a meeting scheduled where you are attending our premises, please contact the person you are due to see for confirmation.
If visits to our premises are required, you will be required to wear a face mask, have your temperature checked (this will not be held on file), hand sanitising facilities are available and should be used on entry and exit.
In compliance with NHS Test and Trace, you will need to provide your name and contact details that will be held for 21 Days.
Zero physical contact (i.e. Hand shaking) and 2 Metre spacing as advised by Public Health England. Please do not be offended by this.
All staff to increase the frequency that hands are washed in line with the advice from Public Health England, using the provided antibacterial handwash and gels.
Staff working in Good Inwards / Despatch areas, handling goods are to wear PPE issued hand protection, which is to be changed regularly.
Delivery drivers are to wear PPE issued hand protection and face masks which are to be changed regularly and drivers will carry hand sanitiser in vehicles. Delivery drivers will limit close quarter interaction to an absolute minimum.
We hope that these precautions will help reduce the spread of the virus and we will aim to continue to be 100% operational and bring you the service that we have built our reputation on.
